Dear Tash,
Inik and I showed up in a strange place today. There were swarms of humans..all dressed up even though October is no where near. We had to stand in a line and present information, which surprisingly I had, to which we then got a ticket and a bag filled with..books and other strange objects.
Inik has stuck close to me this entire time, but people stare more than ever..I do hope he isn't going to get into any trouble.

Nothing had made sense since we got here but I did meet someone who seemed to know me, even though she asked strange questions. I am certainly not a furry and yes, my ears are real! She simply smiled in a mysterious but knowing manner, thanked me and went on her way..humans are odd creatures. I don't think I'll ever understand them.

This place is exhausting; there is too much to do and so little time. Food and drink must be bought, but there are also interesting knick knacks. I saw Inik couldn't tear his eyes away from one, I bought it for him. The vendor said it was a Sendile..whatever that is. Inik seems happy, so I am pleased.
..I do hope we can go back soon though..it's getting too crowded for my tastes.

I think Conventions are magical crossroads, Mr. Elli. Bits and bobs from all different worlds getting dumped into one place for a short window of time. How wonderful~
